That might give me a reason to buy a Wii...that and if more games come out for it.
Heehee, imagine, swinging the nunchuck (right? That's what they call it...?) to do one of Sailor Moon's attacks....hey, that could be really fun actually! =D _________________ ^_~

I've had a Wii for a while and I have like 4 games for it and this will be one that I buy if they make it. The only reason I don't buy more Wii games is because they cost $50 each and because most of them are just games with a bunch of mini games. Maybe Sailor Moon fans will buy a Wii for this game.

If there was a Sailor Moon game for the Wii, I would definitely get it. But I don't think a Sailor Moon game would really come out. First, the series' popularity isn't as big as it used to be since the series is over. I don't think the sales would be that great. But if there really is a Sailor Moon game, I would get it right away ^^ _________________ You can't have your sanity back. You were never sane to begin with anyway.

Even if you have a Wii, a Japanese Wii game won't work on a North American Wii. So the game would have to come over here as well as be released there. I'm not holding my breath, but it would be awesome.

If you search for sailor moon wii in global.yesasia.com you'll find a preoder item which is a Sailor Moon game for the Wii console and it is scheduled (according to the site) to come out on the 31st of December 2007. So I'm waiting to see if the rumor's true... _________________ The Soldier of the Moon was Here...

Well, unless you don't mind importing it, the language barrier, and aren't afraid to mod your wii so that it can handle those. Modding of course isn't exactly simple, as it does usually require soldering skills, and it can cause damage to the console if done incorrectly, and of course voids your warranty... yada yada yada... But hey, a gamer's got to do what a gamer's got to do. If I owned a Wii, I'd only undertake modding it if I knew I could get my hands on a replacement fairly easily and with minimal expense, which isn't bloody likely at this point.

You know, I had forgotten about the motion sensitive game play onthe wii, since I don't actually own one. That would indeed be awesome! Now I'm even more interested...

Well, my understanding is that while, yes, the Wii can be modded to be region free, not only is there the chance that your Wii could be damaged, but also that it will no longer work with online gaming (whenever that comes around).

It depends on how it is modded. If it's anything like my modded gamecube, it won't effect online gaming because you can boot the gamecube like always, bypassing the mod, and operate it without the modded features. But again, that would depend on the mod and how it is done, and I am unsure if the Wii mods are the same. So your point is quite valid and anyone considering modding should keep that in mind. If and when online gaming comes about, modded consoles may get you banned from services.

Some people are already learning how to emulate the Wii console (because it's heavily based on Gamecube, and GC emulators are pretty easy to find), even though emulation with CD consoles is ridiculously slow. But if they ever figure out a way for emulators to emulate GC/Wii console speeds, that's how us Americans would be able to play it. _________________ "I cannot do wrong, for I don't know what it is." - Mark Twain

That's also a possibility, yes. For me, though, there's just something about playing games on a console. But as I said earlier, a gamer will do what he must, be the most feasable option modding or emulating. I also think the emulated version would lose the attraction of the motion sensitive game play.
